PIP provides advisory and leadership opportunities for new residents, fosters civic engagement, and seeks to strengthen overall settlement outcomes through collaboration with service providers and municipal and community leaders. This work is enables through partnerships with Municipalities, Immigrant Serving Agencies, Provincial Government (Economic and Population Growth, Office of Im- migration, Island Investment Development Inc., Municipal Affairs, Rural and Regional Development), Federal Government (IRCC, ACOA), and other local, regional, and provincial partners.
