Treatment Goals for Lupus Nephritis
The goal of therapeutic intervention is to rapidly and deeply reduce urine protein creatinine ratio (UPCR)
and reduce steroid administration, noting that patients in the nephrotic range (> 3-3.5 g/d) may take an
additional 6-12 months to achieve desired outcomes, due to slower proteinuria recovery
