Adjusted EBIT* for the Zegna segment was €141.5 million in
2022, up 7% from €131.9 million in 2021
Adjusted EBIT Margin* for the Zegna segment was 12.0%,
down from 12.7% in 2021
Improvements were driven by the repositioning as part of the
ZEGNA One Brand strategy
Partially offset by the less favourable country mix, increase in
operating expense, higher advertising and marketing costs (in
line with what announced at our Capital Markets Day in May
2022) on rebranding activities, higher personnel and
compliance-related costs (partly linked to the Group going
public), and higher depreciation and amortization
