MATERIAL TOPICS
Getinge conducted a full materiality assessment in 2022 including
dialogues with all stakeholder groups. The materiality assessment
was carried out to ensure that the sustainability approach and
targets under the program are addressing what is important to
its internal and external stakeholders, as well as what is material
to Getinge.
List of Material topics
The updated material topics, outlined in the adjacent table, have
been approved by the Board of Directors.
Changes of Material topics
Getinge's engagement with stakeholders has shown minor changes
in topics and priorities during 2022. Compared to the material
aspects reported in 2021 there are small differences. Material aspects
that are not included in this years' list are related to sustainability
reporting and data quality. These subjects are still important but
are not seen to have an impact on environment, economy and
people in and of themselves but rather important enablers to
measure and report on progress.
Boundaries of material topics
The topics include all parts of the organization, group companies
and all employees at Getinge.
