Strong safety performance in recent years attributable to training programs, risk
assessments and enhanced hazard identification.
Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) at the end of 2022 was 0.40 and the Total
Reported Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) was 1.3, with three LTI (Lost Time Injuries)
incidents reported during the year.
Increased LTI incidence in 2023 leading to greater focus on contractor onboarding
Improving safety performance remains a priority and developed new hazard
reporting model in Q1 to prevent and tackle operational risks.

Environment
Sierra Rutile Rehabilitation Trust conservatively invested to fund short-medium
term rehabilitation plans.
152ha land rehabilitated in 2022. 2023 plan to rehabilitate 275 ha.
Rehabilitated ~809 hectares since 2016
Launched environmental education programs for the conservation of western
Chimpanzees and other species.
Creation of an environmental youth club "Roots and Shoots" to conduct
environmental activities in the community.
