Management Report 2020
Management Report 2020
SLC
Agrícola
A total of 97,400 hectares of our farms are set aside
for conserving natural forests and biodiversity. We
also operate nurseries on eight farms that supply
seedlings, which are predominately of tree species
native to the Cerrado biome, to local communities
(such as local governments, NGOs and educational
institutions).
To expand the generation of positive impacts, we
work in partnership with universities and civil society
organizations to develop projects focusing on pro-
tecting the fauna and flora of the Cerrado biome. Ex-
amples include our involvement, since 2018, in the
Pantanal Headwaters Pact and in the Cerrado Biodi-
versity Conservation Program, the latter developed at
the Planalto Farm in partnership with the Federal
University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
