Relationship to the State of Alabama
.
•
•
ADOC is a department of the State of Alabama and not a separate legal entity, indicating that
obligations of ADOC are obligations of the State of Alabama. All of ADOC's revenues are
provided by the State through yearly appropriations
This will include budgeting for all of ADOC's obligations under the new Lease Agreements
ADOC's budget appropriations are expected to include funds for all correctional facilities
operated by ADOC (will include the three new correctional facilities when operational)
Although ADOC is not independently rated, its relationship to the State of Alabama makes it a
highly-rated counterparty for the Project
