Hall 1 Organizer: Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Health Committee under the Council of Muftis of Russia and the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation. One of the key components of the third UN Sustainable Development Goal on health is maternal, newborn, and child health. In the countries of the Islamic world, the issues of maternal, child, and reproductive health are especially relevant due to high birth rates, early marriages, and uneven quality and accessibility of medical care in a number of countries. In the Russian Federation, there has been some success in reducing infant mortality, stabilizing maternal mortality, and protecting the reproductive health of the nation. The positive experience of the Russian Federation can be transferred to countries with less favorable indicators. How is the system of maternal, child, and reproductive health care developing in the OIC countries? What measures are being taken to reduce maternal and infant morbidity and mortality in Russia and abroad? What preventive measures are used to preserve women's reproductive health? How are educational and simulation technologies used in the prevention of perinatal losses? Invited moderator: ☐ Oleg Salagai, Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
