Only 18% of elders in Guoluo and 11 % in Yushu reported good health. * The TAR has by far the highest number of elderly who are NOT receiving pensions (30%), whereas more than 90% in the other regions are receiving pensions. * The TAR also has the highest number of elders who cannot live independently (22%).
