Domestic Macroeconomic Indicators Gross Domestic Product (GPD) Growth According to estimates by GASTAT, real GDP rose by 9.6% y/y in Q1 2022, achieving the highest growth rate since 2011, . This positive growth rate was mainly driven by the increase in oil activities by 20.4% in Q1 2022. whilst, non-oil activities grew by 3.7%, with government services activities growing by 2.4% y/y. Saudi Unemployment Rate (15+) GASTAT's latest labor market release for Q4, 2021 showed that Saudi unemployment rate decreased from 11.3% to 11% in Q4 2021. Male unemployment continued decreasing to 5.2%, whereas female unemployment increased to 22.5%, up from 24.4% in Q4 2020.
