Egypt Passenger Cars
The passenger car market contracted 32.1% q-o-q and 33.3% y-o-y in 2Q22. Meanwhile, GB
Auto's passenger car volumes went down by only 12.6% q-o-q and 6.5% y-o-y.
PC market continues to navigate rising freight costs, supply chain challenges
and a semiconductor shortage. These issues were further exacerbated by
the devaluation of the EGP in March 2022, restrictions on importation and a
slowdown in opening letters of credit.
