MATERIALITY
MATRIX
The materiality matrix is an essential tool that
relies on the mapping of the organization's
stakeholders. It summarizes the results of the
work, which consists of:
• identifying priority issues, based on the available
documentation concerning the company,
.
•
its activities and its environment;
sharing these issues with its main stakeholders;
prioritizing these issues by comparing
stakeholders' expectations and the vision
of management.
A methodology note is available on the Group's
website. The assessment is based on information
gathered during interviews with experts, customer
surveys, employee surveys, minutes of meetings
with various stakeholders, and internal interviews.
For example, interviews with external stakeholders
carried out as part of "the purpose" or the
"me@saint-gobain" survey, conducted among
Group employees, were included in the analysis.
