LUNDBECK ANNUAL REPORT 2021 = CONTENTS 10/111 Throughout the year, the pandemic continued to impact our ability to engage with healthcare providers and patients, particularly in the U.S., which saw varying levels in vaccine uptake across the country. Despite the pandemic impact fluctuating to varying degrees in different geographies over the course of the year, we are pleased with our results; overall the strategic brands continued to grow in local currencies and mature brands continued to perform well. We have great talent, aligned and dedicated to restoring brain health. It is our team's dedication to helping patients with brain disease that has made Lundbeck successful in the past and will ensure we are successful in the future.
