26 17 Encourging Startups in the State Odisha has one of the best Startup Ecosystem in the Country with more than 1400 startups. Government of Odisha aims to emerge amongst the top 3 "Startup Hubs" in India through strategic partnerships, conducive ecosystem, investment, and policy interventions. To encourage startups, numerous provisions and incentives are extended by the State which are covered in the Startup policy of Odisha. Initiatives to promote startups engaged in exports, development of technology solutions to address challenges faced by exporters and SMEs, technology solutions to support scale-up of production of export products, facilitate / support market access shall be explored.
