Investor Presentaiton
After the future executives have collected all
necessary documents, they may file an appli-
cation for registration of the company in the
Commercial Register. Once the court admin-
istering the Commercial Register registers the
company, the process of the company's forma-
tion is complete. The whole process may take
up to two months.
The Commercial Register
A company has legal status and is entitled to
commence business activity in the Czech Re-
public only after it has been registered in the
Commercial Register. Courts have five business
days to register the company in the Commer-
cial Register after the application is submitted.
Fees amount to CZK 6,000 for a limited liability
company and CZK 12,000 for a joint-stock com-
pany (approx. EUR 220 and 440).
Entries in the Commercial Register include the
name of the entity and the address of its reg-
istered office, the identification number of the
entity, the scope of its business activities, the
type of entity and the names and addresses of
the executives or directors, together with de-
tails of their authorisation to act on behalf of
the entity.
Access to the Commercial Register is freely
available on the internet (www.justice.cz;
www.info.mfcr.cz/ares).
