Memberships • United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) • International Association for Volunteer Efforts (IAVE), USA National Representative in Pakistan Status • • International Association for Volunteer Efforts (IAVE), USA Global Network of Volunteering Leadership (GNVL), USA Punjab Volunteer Network UCP-VIS department co-founded the Punjab Volunteer Network (PVN) in collaboration with United Nations Volunteers (UNV). This network is meant to not only promote volunteerism among youths but also to advocate it to Government as well. Punjab Volunteer Network has placed University of Central Punjab (UCP) in the front seat as a leader in promotion of volunteerism. UNV has recognized the role of UCP in social development and promotion of volunteerism and hence joined hands with UCP-VIS to form PVN. 113 Annual Report 2021 Global Volunteering Initiative (UCP-GVI) Deputy Director VIS Muhammad Hammad Ur Rehman, during his participation in 16th International Volunteer Conference 2019 held at Bangkok, Thailand had some side meetings with organizations from around the world and 4 different organizations came to consensus with UCP- VIS to join hands for a global volunteer exchange program. These organization are: • • • • Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand Volunteering Taiwan, Taiwan University of Philippines, Philippines Emirates Foundation, UAE COVID-19 Response VIS department engaged UCP volunteers in activities regarding COVID-19 Awareness at different intervals throughout 2021. These campaigns were not only conducted in schools to make the young kids aware of the SOPs but our volunteers also shared messages on COVID-19 prevention and motivated masses for Covid Vaccination. In 2021, 7 different COVID Awareness Campaigns were executed that include Social Media Awareness Campaigns as well as Awareness Campaigns for School Kids in which out students went to different small-scale schools to spread awareness among young kids regarding COVID prevention and SOPs. 114 Annual Report 2021
