We respect the full exercise of union activities
and all our employees are covered by Collective
Bargaining Agreements entered into with the
unions of the categories related to our activities.
We maintain close relationships with the various
labor unions that represent our employees, and
the collective agreements and conventions to
which we are a party or those negotiated directly
have, in general, a duration of 12 months. We
value compliance with the applicable labor
legislation and the conditions agreed upon in the
collective instruments entered into with the
unions, applying them equally to unionized and
non-unionized employees.
In 2022, there were no reports of work
stoppages or strikes at the Company.
Aspects of people's health, safety and well-being
are essential in our management and operations.
Our occupational health and safety
framework complies with the rules and
guidelines of the Ministry of Labor and other
relevant legislation (federal, state, and
municipal), especially the Regulatory Norms
(NRs) related to occupational safety and
health and the guidelines and requirements
for the management of occupational risks
and prevention measures in occupational
safety and health (OSH). All our employees
are covered.
In order to deepen this position even further, in
2022 we began the process of improving our
Occupational Safety and Health Management
System, which includes a new Corporate
Behavioral Safety Program.
