To drive an ATV unsupervised, you must be 16 to apply for a permit People between ages 14-16 are allowed to drive an ATVprovided that they are under the supervision of a parent/guardian or at a closed course under the supervision of a registered ATVorganization ▸ Children under 14 can drive ATV's, but only under the supervision of their parent/guardian and they must adhere to size regulations.
