Dubai Economic Overview (3/3)
Highlights
Higher transaction fees and mortgage caps implemented in
2014 have helped to cool the market. Residential real estate
prices continue to ease, but on low volumes, particularly in
the villa sector. Mid-range villa prices declined -10.7% y/y in
March 2015, with high-end villas down -3.8% y/y.
• Medium term outlook is balanced, with growth prospects
in the 'affordable housing' sector.
• Commercial property prices have stabilized, with price
per square foot unchanged over the last three quarters.
