Staff development Employee development opportunities at the department are structured around the learning model defined in the Learning and Development Plan 2020-2024. A mix of on the job training, collaborative and formal learning, and growth opportunities aligned to business needs, are available to staff. The department's formal learning catalogue includes on-demand eLearning through the MyLearning platform, and face-to-face opportunities. In 2022-23, employees completed 5,054 hours of eLearning programs and 5,021 hours of face-to-face training and development. An overview of participation can be seen in Figures 8 and 9.
