Scrivener's Error • The SCDOI will pursue correction of a scrivener's error in Section 38-99-70. This correction is consistent with the purpose and intent of the Act and does not alter its substance. ⚫ States are trying to enact legislation that is substantially similar to the NAIC model to address concerns about a consistent regulatory approach. Therefore, no other changes are contemplated.
