100m) at Toro. The degree of muscovite
crystallinity is indicated by colour, with highly
crystalline mica (high temperature) designated
as red and less well crystalline mica (lower
temperature) shown as blue. The northern and
southern alteration centres are characterized
by increased muscovite crystallinity. The
southern zone shows higher crystallinity, which
is consistent with formation at higher
temperatures, near an inferred porphyry
centre. The dashed lines indicate interpreted
structures (faults / fracture zones) that are
inferred to control hydrothermal alteration and
metals distribution (cf. previous figure).
