• Contracts in existence prior to taking office not prohibited
.
Contracts permitted with disclosure that must:
-Meet requirements under Conflict of Interest above
-Contain a description of the contract or purchase to be made and
the pecuniary interest of the Public Servant
- Be accepted by Commissioners at a public meeting before final
action on the contract or purchase
-Be filed within fifteen (15) days after final action on the contract
or purchase with SBOA and Circuit Court Clerk
• Commissioners must certify contract lowest amount other
reasons why the vendor or contractor was selected
