A closer relationship with the local communities has
enabled the development of several projects and
actions that reaffirm our ambition to promote positive
transformations in society.
Our ability to have an open and direct dialogue with the
community resulted in delivering a community organic
garden, which benefited 36 families, or 135 people, in
the Tabocas and Mata communities, neighboring the
Alto Sertão II Wind Power Complex, in the rural area
of Caetité (BA). We also made available the consulting
services of agronomists; encouraged the installation
of water tanks in the beds and fencing with mesh; in
addition to offering workshops on management and
attention to water resources, food hygiene, planting
techniques and practices, and vegetable garden care.
