EROSPACE OCIETY OF SAME CAME Godid Vidal SOCIETY OF AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS SAME GOLD MEDAL 2014 The SOCIETY OF AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS (SAME) has instituted the SAME - GOLD MEDAL to recognize the outstanding/innovative contributions made by small/medium scale industry in India and to encourage the spirit of achieving excellence in aerospace manufacturing. The SAMEGOLD MEDAL for the year 2014 is conferred on Investment and Precision Castings Ltd. (IPCL), Bhavnagar. Investment and Precision Castings Ltd. are pioneers in Investment casting technology, catering to the needs of Aerospace, Defence, Medical implants, Automobile and General engineering sectors. IPCL has successfully developed and supplied almost all the types of Investment castings required for Indigenous Cryogenic upper stage engine. IPCL also significantly contributed in the development and supply of thin walled Aluminium alloy castings required for LCA. In recognition of their EXCELLENT contributions in realizing very high precision Investment castings required for Aerospace and Defence applications, the SAME is happy to honour Investment and Precision Castings Ltd. by conferment of SAME GOLD Medal - 2014.
