2 Faces of Development A journey through the daily routine of IDB-supported programs in Brazil Faces, needs, ideas and expectations. Each one of the programs supported by the International Development Bank in Brazil is carried out by Brazilians who work for and reap the benefits of the initiatives supported by this institution all over the country. Through the images presented in Faces of Development, we meet these anonymous characters, who very often remain hidden behind statistics and documents. The photographs provide a subjective report of the day-to-day situations faced by millions of people who are, in some way, tied to the actions created by the government, the private sector and civil society organizations which we have the honor of partnering. The interactive format of the exhibition was developed so that the visitor can discover the impact of the transformations proposed by each initiative and, above all, come face to face with the real protagonists of this process: the people...
