1.2.6 RUSSIA – MIDDLE EAST: THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY AND THE CREATION OF A NEW TOURISM
PRODUCT
Organizer: Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The formation of the tourist product is the main stage of building the tourist's customer journey and implies the
interaction of the whole range of tourist services. The choice of a tourist destination, the tourist's stay at the
airport and on board, accommodation in a hotel, participation in sightseeing tours, and acquaintance with
the gastronomic culture of the country visited - all these stages of the customer journey affect the formation
of the tourist's impression of the stay in the country of rest. To create an attractive tourism product that meets
the needs and focuses on the requirements and cultural values of the tourist, both from Russia and the Middle

programs? What are Russian airports and hotels currently doing to improve the conditions of stay for Muslim
