According to SEIA data, the United States installed 13.4 GW dc of PV in the first three quarters of
2022-down 16% from the first three quarters of 2021.

Residential PV (4.2 GW dc) continued its strong growth and was up 37% from Q1-Q3 2021.
However, utility-scale PV (7.5 GW dc) was down 33% and C&I PV (1.7 GW dc) was down 1%
during this period.
