Supportive labor market performance in 2022 and early 2023 The labor market continues to evolve very favorably and maintains important year-on-year advances in enrollment, compatible with significant reductions in unemployment in April 2023 (-5.9%), improving on pre-pandemic levels. The Community of Madrid recorded its best ever number of employees in April-23, with 3,547,671 people affiliated to Social Security (+4.2% y.o.y) Likewise, the unemployment rate (EPA survey data, unofficial unemployment figures) in 1Q22 at 11,01, and well below the 2020 peak rate above the 13% mark.
