Elephant Oil has secured a 70% Working Interest
(WI) in the very large onshore Namibia-based
Block 1919 project, which totals over 2.8 million
acres (4,507 sq mi, 11,675 sq km)
. A total of 111 giant oil and gas fields with
recoverable reserves of nearly 260 billion barrels
of oil equivalent have been discovered along the
South Atlantic margins¹

Namibia has promising geology that is similar tectono-stratigraphically to prolific hydrocarbon
regions on both sides of the Atlantic.
Multiple operators are active in Namibia and
numerous petroleum exploration licenses have
been awarded¹
