87 Annual Report 2021 Oct 29, 2021-Batch 3 - UCP conducted Management Training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton Lahore on Friday, October 29. Deputy Chief Engineers, Senior Medical Doctors, Law Officer, Procurement & Production Managers, Officers from Commercial Dept of Pakistan Railways in grades BPS 17 – 19 and senior officials from Ministry of Railways participated in this full day training workshop on Quality and Lean Six Sigma. Head UCP-CPE, Mr Zubair Anwar, facilitated this training session as the resource person. Nov 11, 2021-Batch 4 UCP-CPE conducted management training on Six Sigma for Pakistan Railway on November 11. It was attended by Medical Superintendents, Senior Gynaecologists, Deputy Chief Engineers, Project and Deputy Directors, Workshops & Factory Managers, Commercial and Operations Managers and senior officials from Ministry of Railways. The training was conducted at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton Lahore for full day by Head UCP Centre for Professional Excellence Mr Zubair Anwar. Finance for Non-Finance Professionals Six Sigma for Managers & Executives Project Management Fundamentals TV Anchoring & Hosting Professional Diploma in Hospital Management Professional Diploma in Prevention, Control and Management of Infectious Diseases Certified Human Resource Professionals Manufacturing and Service Industries Training Other Initiatives and Participations Collaboration with Pakistan Railways A delegation from UCP led by Mr. Zubair Anwar, Head Centre for Professional Excellence and Dr Muhammad Akram Tahir, Dean Faculty of Engineering along with Dr Rizwan Shad HoD Mechanical Engineering, Dr Ali Nasir HoD Electrical Engineering, Dr Kafeel Ahmad HoD Civil Engineering and Dr Faizan Shafiq visited Pakistan Railways Head Quarters in Lahore. Pakistan Railway senior officials including Advisor Human Resource & Capacity Building, Chief Engineer Locomotives, Joint Directors and Deputy Directors received UCP delegation. Both sides discussed areas of common interest and identified short-term and long-term initiatives that can be undertaken for upskilling and capacity building of Pakistan Railways.
