To bring additional 100 ha area lying fallow, under salt tolerant paddy, followed by pulses and groundnut in Rabi, so as to increase farmers income and cropping intensity. To bring additional 100 ha area under Paddy in Kharif and Rabi and enhance the productivity by 20%. Seed Production of 50 M.T. of paddy (salt tolerant varieties) and 10 M.T. pulses on departmental farms and selected seed growers. 12 Nos. Community farming projects will be undertaken in the State. 200 demonstration of HYV / Hybrid varieties of paddy & 100 demonstrations of pulses will be carried out. 4 nos Model khazan will be identified in talukas for undertaking Agriculture activities. 3 units for jaggery preparation from sugarcane, will be taken up on community basis. • Quality seed of 1000 MT of paddy and 25 Mt of Pulses will be made available to farmers in the State by the year 2025. Additional 500ha area of fallow land will be brought under Paddy cultivation. • 500 demonstration of HYV/Hybrid varieties of paddy & 100 demonstrations of pulses will be carried out. • By 2025, 15 additional Nos. Community farming projects will be undertaken in the State. . Total of 4 nos. Model khazans will be cultivated in talukas. Units for jaggery preparation from sugarcane, will be taken up on community basis. • Targets will be allotted to the Zonal Offices for achieving the goals. Foundation seed and Truthfully labelled seed will be supplied to farmers through the Zonal Agriculture Offices. • Regular inspections will be carried out to monitor the quality of the crops for seed production. • Meetings will be conducted for undertaking activities in Khazans and preparing community farming groups
