Maybank and UMW entered into a Memorandum of Collaboration with Bursa
Malaysia to pursue a proof of concept for a Sustainability Financing Platform
This partnership aims to enable financial institutions to use disclosed
information on the platform to structure sustainable supply chain financing
products and programmes that incentivise corporates to adopt low-carbon
intensity practices and to reduce their Scope 3 carbon emissions
Maybank partnered KPMG Singapore to mobilise funding for low carbon and green
projects through KPMG's ASEAN Decarbonisation Hub
This partnership will facilitate low carbon and energy efficiency project origination,
structuring, financing and implementation to help businesses manage the impact of
climate change. This includes helping businesses achieve their net-zero goals through
carbon reduction roadmaps and sustainable financing provided by Maybank to support
decarbonisation projects
