iw EXPECTED OUTCOMES The NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF WELDING expects to achieve the following through the success of IIW Congress 2013 1. Increased knowledge of iiw weld care policies and guidelines within the region 2. A step forward in the development of a harmonized welding personnel qualification system within the region 3. A step forward on an intended harmonized database of qualified welding personnel in the region 4. A tangible increase in research activities in welding 5. Increase in membership of WAWF members in the iiw database member countries 6. Opportunity to initiate the AWF.
