TIA A Track I ANCSA Additional Information Applications for projects on lands conveyed through ANCSA do not have to focus on the clean-up of contaminated ANCSA lands. Still, EPA strongly encourages Pollution Reduction strategy projects to clean up contaminated lands conveyed through ANCSA. Applications submitted to benefit disadvantaged communities in Alaska, whether under TIA A or not, are not required to be on ANCSA land. Eligible CBOs can be the Lead Applicant applying under the TIA even if they are not an Alaska Native Village, Alaska Native Non-Profit, or Alaska Native Association.
