In 2022, these trends reversed, with the Global Off-Grid Lighting Association tracking a record 9.5 million off-grid solar products sold in 2022. Collectively, they had a capacity of 94 MW. - - The association attributed the gains to better programmatic support, and improved financial mechanisms.
