On August 19, over 4 lakh volunteers visited lakhs of families to get household details. ADMINISTRATIVE MAP Lagend Lac#4Concept Enumeration of Socio Economic status of all the Households in Telangana State formed on 02.06.2014. Survey conducted on one single day (19.08.2014) to ensure objectivity and prevent duplication. Entire Government machinery at the field level was deployed. Simple but effective format for survey. Compared to other surveys taken up so far, unique and most comprehensive exercise.#5Objectives To create a reliable database on each household of Telangana State To facilitate usage by different Government Depts. /agencies to implement programmes. Effective targeting of the Welfare Programmes. To ensure that the intended benefits reach the deserving poor. To plug the leakages in the implementation of programmes.#6Process ܀ ܀ ܀ ܀ ܀ ܀ ܀ Nearly 4 lakh government employees including police utilized to collect details of the households. Information collected on voluntary basis to avoid litigation (WPs pending on privacy issues). Not notified under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 (mandatory disclosure). Collected the actual information on 8 broad areas covering 94 items. Verification of documents issued by the State / Central governments such as: Aadhaar card/Ration card Bank Account Details LPG connection booklet Physically Handicapped certificate (if applicable) Electricity Bill Pattedar Passbook Caste certificate Vehicle Registration detail#7Process... Natives of Telangana, residing in other states and abroad who were physically not present included in the list, based on relevant documents produced. Training imparted to all the enumerators and supervisors for the effective conduct of Intensive Household Survey. Wide publicity given for participating of the people in the survey. Enumeration conducted from 8 AM to 8 PM in rural areas,7 AM to 7 PM in urban areas, the time was also extended to cover all the households. Holiday declared under Negotiable Instrument Act. The programme helps in rejuvenating 46,531 tanks and lakes, storing 265 TMC water across the state in five years. This is the first program to be taken up by the Government of Telangana after coming into power in June 2014. The Program was inaugurated on 12th March 2015 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekhar Rao in Sadashiva Nagar Village. The name "Mission Kakatiya's is given in the remembarance and tribute to the Kakatiya rulers who developed a large number of the irrigation tanks.#10Allocation of budget- Mission Kakatiya Phase Year Allocation of budget Expendi ture 1 2014-15 2016.00 519.44 2 2015-16 2083.13 1311.48 3 2016-17 2255.59 1919.72 4 2017-18 2193.74 Total 6532.46 3231.20#11GRAMA JYOTHI • The hon'ble Chief Minister Sri KCR has inaugurated this program on 17th August, 2015 in Gangadevi Palle Village. ● Under this program the govt. will spend a massive Rs.25,000 Crores for the rural development in the state in coming 10 years. Every village will get around Rs.2 to 6 Crores based on its population. Under this scheme seven village development committees will be formed in every village for effective implementation.#12The Government of Telangana launched Gram Jyothi program as a logical continuation to Mana Ooru-Mana Pranalika. The objective of the programme is to improve the service delivery to the people in core sectors through the strengthening of the Gram Panchayats by bringing together the efforts of various independent departments. Grama Jyothi aims at synergising the developmental activities of the departments by achieving functional and financial convergence through preparation of Gram Panchayat Developmental Plans. • It seeks to exploit the enormous collective energy of the people by making them active partners in the development process, decision making and take good advantage of the social capital at the village level. The goal of Grama Jyothi is to bring in much desired accountability, transparency in the functioning of public institutions working at village level and make them responsive to the needs of the people. Grama Jyothi is all about empowering villages. Grama Jyothi GRAMA JYOTHI VILLA ELOPMENT SCHEME గ్రామజ్యోతి తెలంగాణ గ్రామ అభివృద్ధి పధకము •#13mas price INDIA MISSION BHAGIRATHA : Mission Bhagiratha Telangana's Drinking Water Project Mission Bhagiratha is a project for safe drinking water for every village and city household in Telangana State, with a budget of 43,791 Crores. - The project is a brain child of Telangana Chief Minister, Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao, that aims to provide piped water to 2.32 crore people in 20 lakh households in urban and 60 lakhs in rural areas of Telangana. -The project was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi at Komatibanda village, Medak district in Gajwel Constituency on August 6, 2016 -The ambitious project will supply clean drinking water to all households in the state through water sourced from River Godavari (53.68 TMC) and River Krishna (32.43TMC). -The bulk supply is expected to be completed by May 2018 and intra-village, intra-locality works will be completed by December 2018.#14Empty#15తెలంగాణకు హరితహారం Telangana Haritha Haram The program was launched by Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on 3 July 2015. It is one of the Telangana Flagship programmes to rejuvenate degraded forests, protecting these forests from threats such as smuggling, encroachment, fire and grazing. It adopted intensive soil and moisture conservation measures based on a watershed approach. In the areas outside the existing forest, massive planting activities were to be taken up in areas such as; road-side avenues, river and canal banks, barren hills and foreshore areas, institutional premises, religious places, housing colonies, community lands, municipalities and industrial parks. The National Forest Policy of India envisages a minimum of 33% of the total geographical area under forest cover to maintain environmental stability and ecological balance, which is vital for the sustenance of all life-forms, be it human, animal or plant.#16• . Haritha Haram Another flagship programme of the government, Telanganaku Haritha Haram envisages increasing the green cover of the State from the present 25.16 to 33 per cent of the total geographical area. A total of 230 crore seedlings would be raised in the coming three years starting the first week of July celebrated as 'Green Week'. Fifty lakh saplings would be planted in GHMC limits alone this monsoon. Forest Department and District Water Management Agency (DWMA) have made ready 41 crore saplings for this year. Rs 325 crore has been set aside in the FY 2015-16 for the purpose. గాణకు హరితహారం#17Kalyana Lakshmi/ Shaadi Mubarak The schemes were launched on October 2, 2014, for helping parents who fall into the debt trap of private financiers to get their daughters married off. When the scheme was offered, the one-time financial assistance was Rs 51,000 for women belonging to SC/ST communities. Subsequently, it was extended to BCs and EBCs also. The financial assistance was increased to Rs 75,116 and later to Rs 1,00,116. Nearly four lakh families have availed the scheme till date. In hmtv#18· Aasara Pensions The pension scheme was started in 8 November 2014 by Chief Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao in Kothur in Mahboobnagar district. As a part of its welfare measures and social safety net strategy, the Telangana government has introduced the "Aasara" pensions, with a view to ensure secured life with dignity for all the poor. ‘Aasara' pension scheme is meant to protect the most vulnerable sections of society in particular the old and infirm, people with HIV-AIDS, widows, incapacitated weavers and toddy tappers, who have lost their means of livelihood with growing age, in order to support their day to day minimum needs required to lead a life of dignity and social security. The Telangana Government introduced "Aasara" - a new Pension scheme - enhancing the monthly pension from Rs. 200 to Rs. 1000 for the old aged, widows, weavers, toddy tappers and AIDS patients and Rs. 500 to Rs. 1500 for disabled persons. While the pension amount of Rs 1,000 has been hiked to Rs 2,016 to all categories, pension amount of Rs 1,500 given to differently-abled persons has been increased to Rs 3,016. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao promised to double the pension amounts to beneficiaries and also revise the age limit for old-age pensioners from 65 years to 57 years.#19• Arogya Lakshmi Telangana government provides one nutritious meal every day to pregnant and lactating women and children below the age of six through Anganwadi centres. The scheme was launched officially on January 1, 2015 by Honourable Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao. For the women, 200 ml of milk for 25 days a month and one egg each day will be given with meal. Children, aged between seven months and three years are provided with 16 eggs a month in addition to a 2.5 kg food packet. For children aged between 3 and six years, one egg a day in addition to rice, dal, vegetables and snacks is supplied. A total 18,96,844 lactating mothers, 5,18,215 infants and 21,58,479 pregnant women were covered under the scheme expending Rs 627.96 crore in the past year. The quantity of food items supplied under the scheme has also been increased across all the categories. Aarogya Laxmi Scheme తల్లీబిడ్డల సంక్షేమంకోసం ఆరోగ్య లక్ష్మి#20• Housing for the poor This hallmark initiative of the Telangana government is intended to provide quality and respectable housing to the poor. The 'housing for the provides for two and buildings with the 2 poor' plan three storied BHK flats in Hyderabad and other urban areas while they are to be built as independent houses in rural areas. - A pilot has been taken up at IDH Colony in Bhoidguda, Secunderabad. As many as 396 units with each comprising of two bedrooms, hall and kitchen are being constructed in 32 blocks of G+2 on 580 square yards at a cost of Rs 37 crore at 7.9 lakh per each flat. - 2 BEDROOM HOUSING SCHEME NEWS 6 NEWS Telangana 2BHK Housing Scheme#21• Land distribution to Dalits Another significant welfare scheme of the government that provides 3 acres of agricultural land to landless SC women, along with the provision for creation of irrigation facilities, land development and other agricultural inputs for their sustained livelihood. Government distributed 2,524 acres of land to 959 Dalits spending Rs 94 crore in the first year. రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా 8,522 ఎకరాల భూ పంపిణీ#22బతి ఒక్కరికి 6 కిలోల ఒక్క కిలో బియ్యం పేదల పాలిట వరం • • Rice distribution A whopping 87.57 lakh eligible families, approximately 2,86,00,000 (two crore eighty six lakh) beneficiaries, are being supplied rice from 1st January, 2015 at 6 kgs per person at Re. 1 per kg without any ceiling on the number of members in the family. More than 1.80 lakh MT of rice per month would be required for this purpose. Rs. 1,597 was being spent on the subsidy. To arrive at the eligibility of the BPL families, the family income limit in rural areas has been increased to Rs. 1.50 lakh and in urban areas to Rs. 2 lakh. The land ceiling has also been increased to 3.5 acres of wet land and 7.5 acres of dry land. Government started supplying superfine rice, or Sanna Biyyam, to schools and hostels benefitting 56 lakh students annually with an additional outlay of Rs 120 crore. More than 12,500 MT of rice is being distributed for the purpose. T NEWS bo 9550 T NEWS#23. • • SHE Teams Keeping rising incidents of crime against women in mind, the Telangana government has constituted a seven member committee headed by IAS officer Poonam Malakondaiah to advise it on the measures to be taken for the safety and security of women and girls. The committee submitted its report with 77 recommendations. Forming SHE teams is one of them. The teams keep tab on the eve-teasers and stalkers in crowded places. Initially set up in Hyderabad and Cyberabad police Commissionerates, they were expanded to all the Telangana districts following the encouraging results. KCR Kit Shed S ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో "ప్రసవం సురక్షితం -సుఖప్రదా The flagship scheme was launched on June 2nd 2017 by the Chief Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, with an aim to improve the health of new born child and mother. The government earmarked Rupees 605 crores in 2017 budget. KCR Kit: The mother upon delivery is provided with a KCR Kit consisting of 16 items necessary to keep newborn babies warm and hygienic. They are sufficient for three months. The items include: clothes, quality baby soaps, baby oil, baby powder, mosquito nets, toys, napkins, and diapers. Financial assistance: The mother will also be provided with financial assistance of ₹12,000 (*13,000 for a girl child) to compensate for the loss of work by the women during the pregnancy and post natal period. This amount will be provided in instalment with the last two instalments paid after vaccinating the child. The money is sent as direct cash transfer to individual aadhaar-lined accounts of pregnant women in the State#25Rythu Bandhu Scheme VERNMENT T OF TELANGA రైతుబంధు Rythu Bandhu scheme also Farmers' Investment Support Scheme (FISS) is a welfare program to support farmer's investment for two crops a year by the Government of Telangana. The government is providing 58.33 lakh farmers, 5000 per acre per season to support the farm investment, twice a year, for rabi and kharif seasons. It was launched on 10 May 2018 at Dharmarajpalli village in Karimnagar. If a farmer has a lot of field such that they are due more than Rs. 49,000 then they get a second check for the remaining amount. This is a first direct farmer investment support scheme in India, where the cash is paid directly.#26Rythu Bheema Scheme . Most state in India depends on farming or crop cultivation. It is labor intensive, and you will find a high percentage of people who are associated with this trade. In Telangana, the total number of farmers is a whopping 75 lakhs. Not all of these cultivators are wealthy. The state has now turned its attention towards poor farmers. With the implementation of Rythu Bheema Yojana, Telangana state authority will provide life insurance policy to financially weak cultivators. Name Rythu Bheema Pathakam Declared On May, 2018 Launch Date Aug 2018 Announced KCR [CM Of Telangana] By GOVERNMENT TELANGANA تلنگانہ New LIC Insurance Scheme Rs. 5 Lakh on Death Occasion Supervision Of 4th anniversary of Telangana state creation Pocharam Srinivas, Telangana Agricultural Minister Free Insurance Scheme to Farmers' Family • తెలంగాణ ప్రభు Life Insurand Aim of Farmers#27Amma Odi 108 • • . The scheme was launched after the success of KCR Kit by Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao on 18 January 2018. An exclusive, 102 call number is used for this service. For pregnant woman across the state. Under the scheme, a pregnant woman can use free 102 service van to visit the hospital and dropped off at no cost. It can be used any number of times as necessary. After the delivery, the mother along with the new born are dropped at home after discharge from that hospital. Presently, there are 241 multi-utility vehicles, GPS-tracked, with capacity for 10 patients. Each district is allotted 6-8 vehicles. The call center to avail the service is based in Hyderabad and works 8 AM to 8 PM everyday, 365 days. By the end of 2018 another 200 vehicles will be added to the existing 241.#28Digital Telangana DIGITAL TELANGANA In line with the 'Digital India' of the Government of India and the Telangana Government has planned for a very ambitious Digital Telangana programme, with two pivots, one each representing the supply and the demand side. On the supply side, the main aim is to ensure that digital facilities become available to each and every person in the state. This is being made possible through (i) optical fiber connection to each household through using the water grid trenches, and (ii) providing 4G services in the entire state in collaboration with various telecom operators. Similarly, on the demand side, the intention is to make each and every person digitally literate, aware and empowered so that he/she can make best use of the digital facilities that are being made available right at his/her doorstep. The strategies for this include: (i) the Digital Literacy Programme aimed at making at least one member of every household digitally literate in the next five years and (ii) the School Computer Literacy Programme targeted to teach the basics of computers to every child from Class 6 onwards.#29E-Pachayat Project Taluke Internet Gram Sachivalaya Sarpanch Village Entrepreneur Elected Members Gram Mitra in To ensure electronic delivery of public services in every village in the state of Telangana, the government has launched the e-Panchayat Project. In this program, every village in the state will be provided with the ICT services. All 8770 villages will be enabled to provide e-services like issuance of online certificates like Birth & Death Certificates, Payment of Pensions and Electricity bills in a phased manner.#30TS-iPass The Telangana Government has enacted the Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System (TS-iPASS) Act, 2014' for speedy processing of applications for issue of various clearances required for setting up of industries at a single point, based on the self-certifi cate provided by the entrepreneur. Telangana is the only state in the country that has accorded the investor a legal right to get industrial clearance, provided all compliances are in order. There is a provision of levying a penalty of Rs. 1000 per day on any officer delaying the process, thus making the system accountable, and approval is deemed to have been granted after the stipulated period is over. The number#31of documents to be attached to an industrial application has been brought down from 110 to just 10. The TS-iPASS is being implemented through an end-to-end interactive online system. While the approval for mega projects i.e. (investment of more than Rs. 200 crore or an employment potential of more than 1000) is accorded within 15 days, the approval for all other projects will be granted within 30 days. Thirty clearances from 25 departments, required for establishment and operation have been brought under TS-iPASS.#32KG to PG Scheme in Telengana KG to PG Free and Compulsory Education Scheme in Telangana State Looking at the current educational structure in Telangana, the state government has taken an initiative to bring up the literacy rate and develop the educational system in the state. The new scheme namely KG to PG scheme has started in the state to provide free education to the students, especially females, from primary school to higher education. The state has partnered with government schools, colleges, universities across the state to implement the program for the betterment of the educational system. Many people stop their education or stop sending their children to school for financial crisis. As a solution the government took this step to offer free education so that people don't need to spend a much on their children's education.#33. • Residential Schools • Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. The State Govt. is of a firm view that only education with the highest standards will ensure a bright future to children from the downtrodden in the society. Taking inspiration from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyothirao Phule, the State Govt is running 959 Residential Schools in the State. Students from BC, SC, ST and Minority Communities, who are studying in these great institutions, have won many laurels and accolades at the national and international levels bringing name and fame to the state.#34• • • • Administrative Reforms in Telangana The success of the program or scheme is achieved only if it reaches the final person for whom it is planned. To reach out every citizen of Telangana with the slogan "Swarashtramlo Suparipalana" (Good Governance in our own State), the State Government has implemented several new administrative reforms. The total number of Revenue Divisions has been increased from 43 to 69, and the total number of mandals has also gone from 459 mandals up to 584 mandals: municipalities from the existing 68 Municipalities to 142 municipalities. Seven new municipalities corporations have been created by the government. With this, the total number of corporations has gone up from the existing 6 to 13. The new Panchayat and Municipalities Act were made to increase accountability in Village panchayats and Municipalities and for participation of people. Under these new Acts, proper and effective governance is being delivered by the government.#35THANK You
