The programme is a regular programme broadcast by the AIR twice in a week on Thursday and Saturday at 6:40am in the mode of in-house production. The duration of the programme is of 15 minutes. The content of the programme it is mostly based on curriculum and syllabus of the state from Class I-XII. The presentation of the contents we use different kinds of formats like song format, play format, dramatized format. The programme itself is cost effective as well radio can transmit to the hard to reach places like remote and difficult hill terrains where internet connectivity is poor. Every children who are learning formally or informally can hear the programme during working or during resting along with the elders, parents, so not only the content is learnt by all the children but also the elders or the parents can learn it together Therefore such kind of technological initiatives approaches toward the goal of "Education for all".#5Educational Films: Short educational films of 15-20 minutes have been producing since the year 2010. But unlike the Audio programs the films were produced once or twice in a year and display in the local TV Channel on sponsorship basis. In the venture of audio and Video educational programs of SCERT Manipur has got many awards like Jury Appreciation award in All India Children's Educational Audio Video Festival and ICT Mela in the year 2018, best production award best sound recordist, best child artist etc. Some of the award winning films and audio are ... It was a collaborative work of the state with ISRO and NESAC. Under this programme 25 Satellite Interactive Terminals have been identified at 14 Higher Secondary Schools, 10 DIETS and one at the SCERT#7DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) This programme was implemented in Manipur in 2019. DIKSHA is a single national digital platform for Teachers. The objectives of this programme is – -To share knowledge amongst teachers across the nation. -To energize school Textbooks by using QR code (Quick Response Code)#8School Leadership Development Programme(SLDP) While the sldp was flourishing since 2018, having experience its prime time after the conduct of various Capacity Building Programme for the State Resource Group(SRG) and for the Head Teachers on School Leadership. It had also completed two batches of "One Month Certificate Course on School Leadership Development and Management" for Head Teachers from 4 valley Districts. By then, the school Heads who had participated in the One Month training course were fully motivated, gear up to face various challenges that comes on their way.#9We have witnessed a lot of changes taking place in the schools- like beautification of the school environment, changes and improvement in the teaching-learning process, positive attitudes of Head Teachers towards other teachers and to their students which enhance the learning outcome of our students. Suddently, the country and the whole world got struck by the pandemic and our hopes to live a life was shattered. We couldn't imagine to improve our school systems while we were struggling between life and death. It's a fact many noble souls and precious life have been swept away by the cruel hand of covid 19.#10During the pandemic as we could not meet physically, few of the Head teachers did share their good practices through webinar with the help of State Leadership Academy in charge, Sir Ashok Kumar in the presence of our former state SLDP co-ordinator Dr. Mythilli, NIEPA and SLA Resource Persons. Thus we continue to carry out the activities of SLA in virtual mode. NCSL had organized a one-day Online Workshop on Module Development for School Leadership Academies on 22nd October 2021 for different states including the states of Manipur. We could also get introduce with the new SLDP, Coordinator Dr. Puja Singhal from NIEPA through online on 3rd Dec.2021.#11Initiatives and Achievement of Samagra Shiksha, Manipur for the year 2020-21 Introduction: Samagra Shiksha, Manipur in the year 2020-21 has undertaken various initiatives, some of which has become a success story while some are on its path to success. Some of the initiative and achievements are highlighted.#12Jio TV Channel: Manipur's first ever dedicated educational TV Channel called "Lairik" was launched under the platform of Jio TV to provide benefit to both the Teachers and Students. Through the channel, students can watch the contents. easily on a mobile phone instead of depending on a TV unit. (Smart phones or even Jio Phone is capable of showcasing Jio TV). Lairik channel will be visible across India.#13Jio TV channel is managed by Department of Education, Manipur. Lairik, which means book, can show programmes in local language as well as English. Live programmes like classroom sessions can also be integrated within it. The channel can be watched any where in the country. Jio TV is providing the platform to Manipur government for running the educational channel free of cost.#14RADIO CLASS: Samagra Shiksha, Manipur in collaboration with All India Radio has initiated the production of the drama based on Educational Programme called RADIO CLASS in (All India Radio, Imphal). The main objective of the programme is to provide distance learning to the students of class VI to XII through radio broadcasting, to enable the learners receive low cost teaching and attempt to reach out to the needy students who do not have access to internet.#15Further, at the end of every episode students are allowed to join question and answer round. And the winner is awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 200 - Rs. 500 respectively. This competition indeed motivated our young students to participate in RADIO CLASS. The Department in coordination with AIR conducts classes in the form of play.#16E-Learning: In view of the unpredicted crises, the world over due to the spread of Novel Corona Virus/ COVID-19 and the Nationwide Lockdown, our school students have lost a lot of instructional days due to closure of schools. To mitigate this losses and to keep the students abreast with their syllabi in such trying times and considering the urgent need to adopt Digital/ e-learning platforms, as one of the alternative means of learning, Samagra Shiksha, Manipur in Collaboration with the Department of Education (Schools)#17Manipur has initiated the preparation class specific e-context for such e-learning platforms. The contents are available in YouTube (@Department of Education Schools Manipur) and in Facebook (@ Department of Education Schools Manipur).#18Lairik App/ Lairik website Adaptation of e-platforms in the sector of education by the Government department has rather been late. The possibilities and opportunities that can be explore in using e-platform for education has been strongly felt and a small step towards a giant shift has now been taken in the School Education sector in Manipur. All training and workshop are now being documented in either booklet or digital form for future reference and training purposes. A Mobile app called "LAIRIK" is available in Play store for all the students. All digital e-contents are available in it.#19This is an initiative taken by Samagra Shiksha Manipur to provide access to knowledge and education to the students of classes 1 to 12. Manipur Education Department has also launched the e-learning website for students studying in classes 1 to 12. The e-learning website is only for students studying in schools affiliated to Manipur Board and Council of Higher Education. The website has 85 bi-lingual audiovisual classes namely lairik.net and laireek.net.#20Both the domains have been occupied by the government so to avoid piracy, said the Education Minister. He made a remark that, "The launch of the website and Mobile app marks the new chapter in the history of education in Manipur as students can go through the lessons for easier self-learning." The website has audio-visual e-content for all the 200+ subjects (from Class 1-12) with compulsory subjects first. The project on completion will produce 2000 hours of digital audio-visual e-content.#21YOU TUBE CHANNEL More than 1000 videos of e-content are available in Department of Education - School YouTube Channel and Facebook page. Submission of assignments were done in paperless mode through Whatsapp. • Admission process is done through online mode in the respective website of DIETS. • Self-learning of the faculties in integrating ICT in teaching and learning is another jump area. • Regular online live discussion sessions streamed through SCERT You Tube Channel on every Wednesday to impart knowledge in various areas to share the#24Resource support by the CIET In taking up these initiatives the CIET NCERT also provides continuous support in face to face mode as well as in online mode. Recently in the month of February 2022 CIET provides Orientation of SRGS on Developing E-content in DIKSHA. Altogether 20 SRGs had been oriented. So from time to time whenever the state requires resource support the CIET NCERT extend their warm support For this on behalf of the State once again thank you CIET Team.#25Issue and recommendations Due to the State's topographical feature sometimes we find glitches in network. Therefore work progress may be delayed. Technological gadgets become obsolete and needs to be upgraded at SCER as well as DIET Centers.
