Promoting Value addition and Export market. Total Land Area 37, 698.67 Sqkm Arable Land 1.36 million hectares. Cultivated Land about 38%. Two distinct agro-climatic zones, Northern Guinea and Sudan and Savannahs. Two Seasons - Dry and Wet Seasons Rainfall range from 400mm-1100mm Mean Temperature 23 oC (Min. 180C & Max 430C) Soil types vary Open and underground water bodies. The State Government signed an agreement with an Aviation Company -Permanently Stationed Aircraft to attack pests promptly. Revenue generation-IGR to the State. Development of Community Seed Production-Posses a Seed cleaning machine. Training of Extension, Farmers and Technical staff.
