Basti Dawakhana
Telangana health department
has set up 224 Basti
Dawakhanas across various
localities in and around
Hyderabad. The main objective
behind launching this kind of
Urban Clinics is to bring access
to highest quality healthcare to
the poorest of the poor living in
the urban areas and bring down
the out-of-pocket expenditures
for poor. The diagnostic
centres will conduct 108 tests
in association with the institute
of preventive medicine (IPM).
A total of 500 Basti
Dawakhanas will be
established as per the plan of
the state government.

Telangana is the only second
state to have its own Disaster
Response Force. The DRF team
is fully equipped with all disaster
management equipment. There
are currently
19 DRF teams with 675
personnel on the ground.
The DRF team was extremely
effective during Covid
sanitation drives and floods,
they have been using vehicle
mounted jetting machines
& also portable disinfectant
sprayers with PPE.

government are bearing

Tennis played Sania Mirza is
appointed as the Telangana
State Brand Ambassador.
The State government has
decided to give Rs 10,000
financial assistance to
persons who have excelled in
sports. Under the GHMC, the
financial assistance is given
every month for one year.
City Art Scape
Paint your city: In an effort to beautify
the city, key roads and flyovers are
being painted with murals, etchings and
art work. Many fine arts students and
creative individuals have taken up these
efforts free of cost or have sponsored
paintings.
Sculptures: Symbols like
love Hyderabad modern
art pieces have been
contributed by artists
and creative individuals
to beautify the city.
