Results Socio-economic Results Data from the Brazilian Association of Highway Concessionaires (ABCR) and Tendencias Consultoria for highways under the private concession regime point to a recovery in traffic in 2019, following the truckers strike in May/2018, with an emphasis on the increase of 17,4% in traffic in May 2019. Cumulative growth was 3.6%. Also according to ABCR, vehicle flow improved for all types of vehicles and regions, albeit differently. This increase was influenced by the recovery of the economy. A further expansion in the flow of vehicles is expected. However, these indicators must be carefully analyzed, since, when compared to 2018, they have clearly been affected by the truckers' strike, which occurred between May 21 and 31, substantially reducing the flow of vehicles on the highways.
