Last year alone, the sector has attracted investments to the tune of about INR 3,700 crores with an employment potential for around 14,000 people. Further, Pharmaceutical exports of Telangana have been leading the way at the country level as well. As per the analysis of data from Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics, Telangana is the leading contributor of Pharma Exports from the Country since 2015-16 (28% share in FY 2020-21 (P)).
