Rural- Urban gap has been widening rather than reducing. ▪ This mismatch causes migration and overcrowding in the cities beyond their capacity. • Lack of rural infrastructure • Lack of Social infrastructure Agricultural crises in Madhya Pradesh • The much touted double digit agricultural growth is not having trickle down effect.#5NEED FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT What is Sustainable Development? The Process of integrating economy, development and environment is known as Sustainable Development. The development process must simultaneously consider the approach of economy, equality and environment, if both future and present generations are to enjoy the higher quality of life.#6• • .
