The Process of integrating economy, development and environment is known as Sustainable Development. The development process must simultaneously consider the approach of economy, equality and environment, if both future and present generations are to enjoy the higher quality of life.#6• • . Background and Context India as a member country of the United Nations and signatory to the UN Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015. India has also adopted the Sustainable Development Goal 2030 (SDG 2030) as the guiding framework for its National Development Agenda till 2030.
