Pre Feasibility study for Demonstration Offshore Wind Project: ONGC with NTPC have jointly carried out a Pre feasibility study for development of suitably sized offshore wind project. Report presently under evaluation Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) technology DGB has been installed in 6 rigs so far, replaces HSD consumption by 50%, reduces fuel cost by 70% and SO2, NO2 and PM emissions by 49%, 28% and 78% respectively, apart from reduction in Carbon Emissions. All new Rigs being procured will have DGB system pre installed.
