Projects Commissioned during the FY 2014-15 एनएचपीसी NHPC S.No. Project/Installed Capacity Capacity Added (MW) Remark I. Parbati III (4x130=520 MW) Total 2. - Dhauliganga All Units Restored. 130 Units-1, 2 & 3 have been commissioned and put on commercial operation in FY14. Unit-4 of Project is declared under commercial operation on June 6, 2014. 130 3. All the 4 units of the power station have been re-commissioned and synchronised to grid during May/June 2014 and scheduled generation has commenced from Unit#4, Unit #3, Unit #2 & Unit#1 on 03.05.2014, 05.05.2014, 19.06.2014 and 27.06.2014 respectively. The company has received 100 crs against the Business Interruption Loss Estimate of ₹291.56 crs and has also received *70 crs against the Material Damage Loss Estimate of ₹ 177.08 crs. The State Cabinet of West Bengal Government has decided to allot 4 more hydropower projects with total capacity of 293 MW to NHPC for their development in the Darjeeling District. These projects are 84 MW Teesta Intermediate H.E. Project, 81 MW Teesta Low Dam I & II H.E. Project, 48 MW Rammam H.E. Project Stage-1 and 80 MW Teesta Low Dam-V H.E. Project. . Currently MOU for the projects is under progress.#14NHPC- Other Business Development Initiatives Solar Energy Wind Energy ☐ Thermal Energy एनएचपीसी NHPC#15· Renewable Energy Initiatives - Solar Power एनएचपीसी NHPC *50 MW Solar Power Project in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh MOU Signed on 8-Aug-2013 between UPNEDA and NHPC. Promoters' Agreement signed between UPNEDA and NHPC Limited on 17-Oct-2014 for setting up a JVC for implementation of 50 MW grid connected Solar Power Project at Parason (Tehsil – Kalpi), District – Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. •⚫ 275 Acres land for this project is being provided by UPNEDA as a part of their equity share in JVC. •⚫ NHPC Board accorded approval for contributing equity amounting to Rs. 114.43 crs in the JVC. • . Registration of JVC under progress and PPA would be signed thereafter. NIT issued for EPC Contract and replies to bidder's queries are being expedited. 50 MW Solar Power Project in Kollam district, Kerela • MOU Signed on 07-May-2014 between NHPC Limited and Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEB) for development of 50 MW grid linked solar power project at West Kallada Panchayat in Kollam District of Kerala. • Topographical Survey Works completed by NHPC. • CET submitted draft report on Soil Investigation work. • Process for award of work for DPR preparation is in progress.#16Renewable Energy Initiatives-Wind Power Wind Power Project in Palakkad District of Kerala एनएचपीसी NHPC • MOU signed with Government of Kerala on 06.01.2014 for development of grid interactive wind energy project with proposed installed capacity of 82MW in Palakkad District of Kerala on BOOT basis. •C-Wet has prepared the draft DPR of the project in Aug-14. • Draft DPR forwarded to ANERT and KSEB for comments. • ANERT has cleared the DPR. Comments from KSEB on draft DPR are awaited. • For Micrositing of Wind Generator and identifying the exact location of wind masts survey works by NHPC in house survey team is in progress w.e.f 01.11.2014. Wind Power Project on EPC Contract Basis NHPC is also exploring options for setting up Wind Energy Project in any of the state of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh or Gujarat with its comprehensive Operation & Maintenance for 10 years. • NIT for Domestic Competitive Bidding has been issued on 28.03.2014 for exploring options of setting up 50MW wind energy project on Turnkey Basis. • Financial Bids opened on 23.12.2014 are under evaluation.#17Thermal Power MOU with IFFCO & CSPHCL 1320 MW (660x2) ■ MOU Signed on 28.09.2013 with IFFCO and CSPHCL for acquisition of IFFCO share (74%) in existing joint venture in thermal project of 1320 MW (660x2) at Surajpur in Chhattisgarh. ■ Project Cost: Rs. 8481 crs at Mar-14 PL. ■ PIB meeting proposed to be held on 25.08.14 postponed till further notice. ■ Review of MOU has been necessitated by CSPHCL on account of non receipt of clearances by NHPC. ■ Efforts are on to take up the matter with the Central and State Government for implementation of the thermal project. एनएचपीसी NHPC MOU With BSPGCL & PIRPAINTI BIJLEE COMPANY 1320 MW (660x2) ■ MoU has been signed on 22.02.2014 amongst NHPC Ltd, Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) and Pirpainti Bijlee Company Pvt Limited (PBCPL) for participation in PBCPL engaged in development of 1320 (2X660) MW Pirpainti Supercritical Thermal Power Project in Distt Bhagalpur of Bihar state. ■ NHPC will acquire 74% equity share of BSPGCL in PBCPL.
